Annual Oak Ridge National Laboratory Tour - A Rare Opportunity for Scouts!
Join us on June 5th for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Oak Ridge National Laboratory!

Departure: Sansom Scout Center, promptly at 8:45 AM, 1333 Old Weisgarber Road, Knoxville, Tennessee 37909
Lunch Provided (Parents who work at ORNL may meet us on campus for the tour and lunch)
Required: Health Forms A & B
Expect lots of walking—rain or shine!
Uniforms are not required: However, please dress neatly and appropriately—we are Scouts representing the Council!
ORNL is a world leader in scientific innovation, from advanced nuclear research to some of the fastest supercomputers on the planet. This incredible opportunity gives Scouts firsthand experience with real-world STEM in action—and we need dedicated adult volunteers to help make it happen!
This exclusive trip is open to ALL Scouts ages 11 and up—you don’t have to be a STEM Scout to attend! Currently registered Lab Managers and adult volunteers are welcome to sign up as chaperones (6 spots available, 2 needed as drivers).
