Health and Safety Merit Badge Day

This Merit Badge Day is hosted and organized by Troop 91 of the Etowah District and welcome any troop from the Indian Waters Council to attend. Scouts can choose from merit badges that are centered around health and safety. Some badges will use the full-day and some will only be half-day. Please note that if a Scout selects a half-day Session they are able to select another half-day Session. There are some requirements which may may need to be completed prior to or after the Merit Badge Day.
The event date is Saturday, October 26, 2024. We will start with check-in at 8:00am and sessions starting at 8:30am and concluding at 3:00pm. The Merit Badge Day will take place at Seven Oaks Presbyterian Church. The cost per Scout is $15, which includes lunch of sub sandwhiches, chips and cookies. If a Leader or Parent will be on-site during lunch time and would like to have the same lunch as the participants, you may add by selecting Leader/Parent Lunch Fee in the registration for an additional $5.00 per person. • Search and Rescue – 15 Participants
• Public Health and Health Care Professions – 20 Participants
• Traffic Safety and Fire Safety – 20 Participants
Schedule:
8:30am – 11:30am – First Session
11:30am – 12:00pm – Lunch
12:00pm – 3:00pm – Second Session
Note: there is a possibility for an adult session for the new Mental, Emotional and Social Health (MESH) training from National.
