It's that time again..... for the Chicora District Pinewood Derby!!

Please remember, this race is open to your Pack's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of each rank. If one of your Top 3 racers from a certain rank is unable to participate, feel free to invite the 4th, 5th etc. place winner. 

We will also host an open class for any Scout/Scouter/Family member who wishes to race! 

While we look forward to seeing the Scouts race, please also remind them about good sportsmanship and that we are all here to have fun! 

Scouts are encouraged to wear their Field Uniforms or Unit Class B T-shirts. 

Don't forget to stop by our Pit Stop for some snacks and drinks. Cash Only!

NOTE: AoL Scouts that have crossed over into a Scouts BSA Troop are still able to compete. Please register as an AoL Scout from your Cub Scout Unit. 

Schedule of Races:

Lions & Tigers at 8:00 am  --  Check in no later than 7:45am

Wolves at 8:30  --  Check in no later than 8:15am

Bears at 9:00  --   Check in no later than 8:45am

Webelos at 9:30  --  Check in no later than 9:15am

AOLs at 10:30  --   Check in no later than 10:15am

Grand Championship at 11:00  

Open Class at the conclusion of the Grand Championship (expected to be at 11:45) 

TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE - OFFICIAL START TIMES WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT THE DAY BEFORE THE RACE VIA EMAIL! 

Please note: 

ALL Cars MUST be checked in NO LATER than 15 minutes prior to race time. 

Your car must meet the specifications based on the scale at the event. The District will not be providing any tools for modification. Please plan to bring your own. Any modifications must be done outside the building. Once your car is checked in, you will not be able to modify the car.
