Getting Back to Nature!

We are buzzing with excitement to announce that our Spring Cub-O-Ree will be hosted by Bonnie Bay Blueberry Farm in Loris, SC. This location is new to the area and this will be the first scout event to be held there.

Let’s get back to nature!! Scouts will enjoy fishing, learning about honey bees, blueberry orchards, gardening, walking, and exploring trails through the farm.

Check-in: Friday at 5 - 7 pm

Check out: Sunday @ 10 am (must be offsite by 10 am)

Food will not be provided so plan accordingly.

ALLERGY ALERT:  there are 2 honey bee hives located on the farm. Please keep this in mind as you register for this event.

Please bring a fishing pole, tackle,  and bait for the fishing activity.

There will be firewood for sale onsite. ABOVE GROUND FIRE RINGS MUST BE USED.

Join us Saturday evening at the campfire for fun with Skits & Songs!

T-shirts are available to purchase at an additional cost. Registration must be completed by March 6, 2024 to be able to purchase t-shirts.

Certain spots on the farm may be muddy so please pack extra shoes & clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.  Due to the soft turf of the area, units will not be able to pull into the campsite area, all gear must be transported from drive/park area to the campsites. We recommend you bring a wagon to assist in the transfer.

Access to potable water is available, but it is located a significant distance from the campsites. You are encouraged to bring more water than you think you will need or a way to transport it over the distance.

A current BSA Health Form is required for EVERY participant. They can be found attached to this calendar event notice. Your health forms should be presented at the time of your arrival. If you plan to attend with a unit that keeps a binder, the binder should be delivered with the first on-site campers. This is at the request of our Health Officer. Please adhere to this request.

Event registration will close at 11:59 pm on March 17, 2024. No exceptions.
