We are pleased to invite you to a special Scouting Tribute Celebration honoring Bobby Barnes, recognizing his remarkable lifetime of achievements and service in Scouting.

This year Bobby will celebrate his 90th birthday, and we are grateful that he continues to do so well. Anyone who has had the privilege of knowing Bobby is warmly invited to join us as we celebrate the incredible impact he has had on generations of Scouts and leaders.

The celebration will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at the Sumter American Legion Post 15,

5:00 – 6:30 PM: Meet and Greet

6:30 – 8:30 PM: Dinner, Tributes, and Special Recognitions

Dinner will include barbecue pork and chicken, rice and hash, green beans, and potato salad, with tea and lemonade provided.

The cost is $25 per person, which includes dinner and a commemorative patch.  Please register by March 14, 2026.
