Silver Beaver Honorees Announced
The Indian Waters Council proudly announces the 2020 recipients of its highest honor for adult volunteers, the Silver Beaver Award. They are: Flynn Bowie of Columbia, Brooks Prevette of Lexington, and Carolyn Wagner of Columbia.  These three longtime Scout leaders have distinguished themselves by their incredible and dedicated service to their own Scouts in their packs and troops, which represent diverse backgrounds and a wide geographic range of our council territory.  For many years, each has also provided noteworthy service of exceptional character to their communities and to Scouting outside of their own programs. All of our Scouting family is invited to join in celebrating these leaders along with numerous other volunteers who give so selflessly through the Boy Scouts of America in our council.
Fifty-Year Council Scouter Woody Carothers To be Recognized as Eagle Scout Class Honoree
The Council Banquet on March 19th will include the recognition of the "Woody Carothers" Eagle Scout Class of 2019. We had a record number of Eagle Scouts in 2019 – 168! We hope all Eagle Scouts from 2019 and their families can attend, and we are seeking sponsors for the event so that our Eagle Scouts can attend at no cost. All of the 168 Eagle Scouts from 2019 are invited to be recognized at the March 19th banquet at no cost.
