Welcome to Merit Badge College 2024 hosted by the Chicora District! We have an excellent list of Merit Badges to offer our Scouts this year and are excited to bring this fantastic curriculum to you! 

Registration for this event will cover 2 Saturdays of classes with Scouts having the opportunity to earn up to 4 Merit Badges as well as an event patch.  You will take the same Merit Badges the first Saturday as you do the second Saturday.

***IMPORTANT NOTES***

1. Some Merit Badges will result in partial completions and must be finished with your home troop, especially if you do not complete your homework between weekends. Merit Badge Counselors will be available via email after the event to assist in your completion. 

2. Merit Badges will be limited to a specific class size, and some may be limited by age/rank. Once registration closes, there will not be any opportunity to switch to different offerings. 

3. Merit Badges may have an additional cost associated with covering classroom materials. 

4. Please complete the "allergies" section in the Scout registration. ESPECIALLY if you are taking Cooking Merit Badge. 

5. Scouts are strongly encouraged to enroll in the full day. If you only need to complete one or two merit badges please contact your Scoutmaster or District Executive about working individually with a Merit Badge Counselor. 

6. Lunch will be provided on both Saturdays. The plan for meals will be sent to participants as soon as it has been solidified. 

***Final registration date is Saturday, January 13, 2024. NO EXCEPTIONS!***

****Merit Badge information will be emailed to Unit leaders showing completions/partial completions no sooner than February 12, 2024.****
