IOLS - Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills

Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) is working as patrols, this hands-on course introduces adult leaders to the practical outdoor skills they need to lead Scouts in the out-of-doors. Along with Scoutmaster Position-Specific this course is required of all direct contact leaders registered in Scout Troops in order to be considered "trained".

Class begins at 7pm Friday & ends 11:30am Sunday. This is an overnight experience, so participants should bring their own 10 essentials, sleeping bag, tent, necessary personal items, writing instrument, & notepad.  Course fee includes printed materials & meals.  A confirmation letter with additional details will be sent out prior to the course weekend.  A field uniform (class-A) is required & a positive attitude is expected.
