We will be holding two summer recruitment training opportunities to assist you and your pack in attracting and registering new members. There is no cost to attend.

Trainings will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, June 27 and Tuesday, July 11 at First Baptist, Greenville, 847 Cleveland Street. Within each evening of training, there will be a three sessions offered simultaneously:

1. Back-to-School Recruitment:  Whether at meet-the-teacher, open house, or other fall events, the start of school is a great time to recruit new scouts!  We want you and your pack to have all of the resources needed to have a successful fall recruitment season.  Please plan to share practices that have worked for your unit!

2. Be A Scout Online Registration:  Changes in the national beascout.org website permit greater flexibility to units seeking to use online registration.  Learn more about the website and get started creating your online presence.

3. Lions Planning:  The ability to recruit first-year students is key to capturing a place in busy youth schedules.  The Lions program permits just such an opportunity.  For those packs seeking to develop or continue a Lions programs for the 2017-2018 school year, learn more about the program, share best practices, and discuss the district’s fall Lions recruitment event.

This training is open to any adult interested in attending, but we hope each pack will send 3 representatives to participate in each of the 3 sessions being offered.
