Camp Old Indian
All Cub Scouts are invited to COI for a camping weekend with a lot of fun activities including BB shooting, archery, slingshots, 1 and 3 mile hikes, fishing crafts, games, a campfire program, Sunday service, and more!
The registration cost includes 4 complete meals: Sat. breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Sunday breakfast. Please indicate food allergies or dietary needs on your registration and note that if the allergies are multiple and/or complex (as in it's an ingredient in many foods), you will likely have to bring your own food. Menus will be sent to registrants as we arrive closer to the event date.
If you have never been to Camp Old Indian, please note that this is a 600-acre camp on a mountain. Most campsites are a long walk and uphill. We are working on a plan to transport gear to campsites this year, but until we get this figured out, have a plan to haul your gear. We have some staff available to help carry gear to campsites, but there is no driving allowed on the camp, so pack as light as possible and bring wagons if you have them.
Please refer to the Leader Guide in the Documents section of the registration page for complete details on this event.
Campsite assignments are given at check-in. No assignment requests should be made except for medical or physical needs. Tent sites may be requested, but are on a first come/first serve basis and may mean that you will not be assigned with your unit.
Unit Leaders: If you register for your entire unit, Black Pug will only send email communications to you, not the entire group you enter. Please make sure you forward any emails sent through Black Pug to your participants so they can stay informed as well.
