Camping 101 Class
This introductory course is for scout parents, scouts, scout leaders, to learn basic camping skills for use at Camp Old Indian, car camping, unit camping, family camping, day hiking and overnight backpacking so they can successfully incorporate the outdoors into their lives and scouting. This will help you make camping a fun event, even if you have never camped before. The course will cover what to pack and what not to pack, equipment for various budgets, types of camping, camping activities, camping locations, checklists and guidelines for safe camping.
