Congratulations on your election as a candidate for membership in the Order of the Arrow! Atta Kulla Kulla Lodge #185 looks forward to welcoming you to Camp Old Indian for your Induction Experience Weekend.

The Induction Experience is the step in your journey into the Order of the Arrow. Throughout the weekend, you will participate in an experience centered on the values of brotherhood, cheerfulness, and service while learning more about the Order of the Arrow and Atta Kulla Kulla Lodge.

Arrival & Departure:

All candidates should arrive at the Camp Old Indian by 6:00 PM on Friday wearing their official Scouting America field uniform (Class A).

Please eat dinner before arriving at camp on Friday evening.

Candidates should bring all required camping gear and personal items for the weekend. Please refer to the New Member Packing List provided in the attachments section for a complete list of what to bring.

The Induction Experience is expected to conclude at approximately 8:00 PM on Saturday evening.

Registration & Cost:

All candidates must register for the Induction Experience Weekend. Please complete this registration form in its entirety.

The registration fee is $60 per candidate, which includes all meals, New Member items, program supplies, and other expenses associated with the Induction Experience.

Due to planning needs, walk-in registrations will not be accepted.

If you are unable to attend this Induction Experience Weekend, Atta Kulla Kulla Lodge will host another Induction Experience at Camp Old Indian later this fall. Candidates for membership into the Order of the Arrow have 18 months from the time of their election to complete their Induction Experience.

Medical Forms:

Parts A and B of the Scouting America Annual Health and Medical Record (AHMR) must be filled out and signed to participate in the Induction Experience. Please bring a current copy with you when you arrive at camp.

What to Expect:

Upon arrival at Camp Old Indian, lodge members will greet you and provide instructions for check-in and the beginning of your Induction Experience. Additional information and final reminders will be sent to registered candidates by email prior to the event.
