Turtle Trek Camporee at Camp Norse Troop Registration

 

WHO - A Scout Jamboree for All!

Overnight camping for this event is open to Scouts BSA Troops from Narragansett councils.

Youth Adventure Card holders $35.00

Adult Adventure Card holders $20.00

Youth Non-Adventure Card holders $45.00

Adult Non-Adventure Card holders $25.00

Final headcount due by November 1st, no refund will be given after this date.

 

WHAT - Join us at Camp Norse this fall for the first ever camporee hosted by Tulpe Lodge open to all! Tulpe Lodge is excited to bring Scouts and families together for a weekend of fun and adventure. Join hundreds of Scouts from across New England, for an event like no other! Stay for the weekend with your troop or come to staff with the Order of the Arrow. The programs will be non-stop, highlighting unique scout activities, and opportunities you will only find at Turtle Trek. We’ll be joined by program partners including youth programs, military, historical groups, environmental organizations, nautical clubs, and so many more! We will also be celebrating Camp Norse’s 90th anniversary! You won’t want to miss the scout-led activities, great food, Sunday Services, trading post, and not one but 2 full-scale shows and a performance from a live band!

Weekend Camping for Scouts BSA Troops

Troops registered to camp will arrive on Friday evening, participate in all Saturday programs and depart on Sunday. Troops are responsible for their own meals besides lunch on Saturday and two provided Cracker Barrels, propane stoves are allowed, snack shacks will be open all-day Saturday.

WHERE - Camp Norse - 112 Parting Ways Rd, Kingston, MA 02364

Parking instructions will be provided to the unit in advance of the event. Troop trailers are allowed depending on the size of the site.

WHY - Turtle Trek is the largest, most exciting, Tulpe Lodge event in years. Scouts will participate in activities not offered at summer camp or a typical scout Camporee! Meet scouts from across New England, camp alongside hundreds of scouts, participate in activities, and celebrate Norse’s 90th anniversary. Join us for two shows celebrating the fun and fellowship of Scouting. Great food! Shooting! Games! and More!

WHEN - Friday, November 8th - Sunday, November 10th, 2024

Check-in Friday night 5pm - 7pm

Check-out no later than 11am Sunday morning.
