Who - The Chuckwagon Derby (day program) is open to Cub Scout dens or packs.

• The Chuckwagon Overnighter is open to packs, dens, or individual Cub Scout–guardian pairs.

What - The Chuckwagon Derby & Overnighter is a councilwide Cub Scout event that brings Cub Scouts together for a full day of fun, teamwork, and adventure.

A Chuckwagon Derby is an interactive event where dens, packs, or Cub Scout–guardian pairs form teams and bring a decorated wagon (their “chuckwagon”). Each team travels together around camp to a variety of activity stations. At each station, Cub Scouts participate in handson challenges that build skills, cooperation, confidence, and Cub Scout spirit.

Following the daytime program, Cub Scouts have the option to stay for an overnight camping experience featuring continued activities, evening fun, and opportunities for rank advancement.

Limited parking is available. Parking will be directed by attendants, and carpooling is encouraged.
