Turtle Trek Camporee

Turtle Trek 2026 at Camp Norse | Oct. 9-11
Forget the standard camporee playbook. Leave the usual troop-level campcraft behind and prepare for a wall-to-wall weekend with hundreds of Scouts from across the region -- hosted by OA's Tulpe Lodge.
For the Scouts: The Main Event
You aren't coming here to tie knots. You will get to face off against Scouts across the rest of the council in:
Live-Fire Shooting Sports: Full access to the ranges.
High-Intensity, Hands-on Stations: Run by the military, historical, environmental, and nautical clubs and the Order of the Arrow.
Head-to-Head Competitions: Scout-led games and challenges designed to push your patrols.
The After-Dark Scale: When the sun goes down, the volume goes up. Experience a live band and two full-scale campfire shows.
For the Adult Leaders: The Turnkey Weekend
No need to build your weekend schedule from scratch for this event. Turtle Trek is designed to let you and your adult leaders step back and turn the Scouts loose. Show up, set up camp, and let Tulpe Lodge's Order of the Arrow youth and outside partners run the program.
"The most turnkey camporee we've attended. The program was so dialed in, the adults actually got to watch the Scouts have fun instead of supervising them all weekend." —
The Catch: Hard Cap at 30 Troops Camp Norse has a strict capacity. Exactly 30 troop sites are available. This is a first-come, first-served registration open exclusively to Scouts BSA Troops. When site 30 is booked, registration hard-stops. Secure your site now before the remaining spots vanish.
