No Registration Needed

WHO: Cub Scout Packs, Scouts BSA Troops, Venturing Crews, youth members, families, and adult volunteers. All units are encouraged to participate and work together in this important community service effort.

WHAT: Annual Scouting for Food door hanger distribution and food collection campaign. Scouts will distribute door hangers to remind community members to set out food donations, then return the following week to collect and deliver those donations to local food pantries.

WHERE: Throughout local neighborhoods and communities served by participating Scout units. **Don't forget where you leave hangers**

Door hangers will be distributed to units at October Roundtables.

WHY: Scouting for Food is one of Scouting's largest service projects, helping provide food to individuals and families in need. By participating, Scouts and volunteers demonstrate the Scout Oath and Law through service, while making a direct impact in their communities.

WHEN

Door Hanger Distribution Day: Saturday, October 31, 2026

Food Collection Day: Saturday, November 7, 2026

HOW: Bring your Scout spirit and a willingness to serve! Distribute door hangers on October 31, then return on November 7 to collect donations. The more Scouts, families, and volunteers who participate, the more food we can gather to support those in need throughout our communities. Together, we can make a difference.
