Reunion #46 -  August 1, 2026
 

Who:
Yawgoog alumni, former and current staff members, past campers from all years, current Scout leaders, and friends of Camp Yawgoog are invited to attend.

What:
The annual Yawgoog Alumni Reunion—a day of reconnecting, sharing memories, and celebrating the ongoing legacy of Camp Yawgoog. Activities will include displays highlighting Yawgoog’s history, bus tours, decade group photos, visits to the Yawgoog Alumni Association Heritage Center, intercamp trivia, and an opportunity to record personal Yawgoog stories. There will also be time for informal socializing, updates on camp operations, and a “Coffee with the Director” session.

When:
Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Registration check-in begins at 1:45 PM.
Dinner will be served at 5:45 PM.

Where:
Camp Yawgoog, with central activities taking place at Donald North Court and additional program elements throughout camp, including the Yawgoog Alumni Association Heritage Center.

Why:
The reunion provides an opportunity to reconnect with fellow alumni, strengthen the Yawgoog community, and support the ongoing mission established by founder H. Cushman “Gus” Anthony. Alumni involvement and support directly benefit Camp Yawgoog and the thousands of Scouts who experience the program each year. Donations of historical items to the Heritage Center are encouraged to help preserve camp history.

How:
Participants can attend by registering for the event and checking in upon arrival. The cost is $10 for the day, with an additional $15 for dinner. All attendees will receive an incentive hat. Refreshments will be available throughout the afternoon, and a full schedule of activities will be offered to ensure an engaging and enjoyable experience for all.
