Course Catalogue:
Adult Trainings:
- Cub Pack Leader Training (C42/C40/C60): Saturday 1:00pm – 5:30pm
- Includes required Cubmaster, Den Leader, and Pack Committee Trainings
- Cub Scout Archery Rangemaster: Saturday 9:00am -- 12:00pm
- Certifies adults (18+) to safely run archery programs at district or council events, covering range setup, safety rules, and equipment maintenance.
- Troop Adult Leader Training (S24, WS10): Saturday 1:00pm – 4:00pm
- Includes required training for Scoutmasters and ASMs, and Troop Committee
- Unit Advancement Training: Saturday 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
- In this course, parents and unit leaders will learn how to help their Scouts advance. We will cover how much time to plan to earn ranks, how to use Scoutbook Plus to link Scouts to merit badge counselors, begin a new merit badge, and record Scout activities and accomplishments. We’ll also discuss key parts of the Guide to Advancement and some common pitfalls in the advancement process and how to avoid them. Breakouts for Cub Scout & Scouts BSA units.
- Chainsaw Safety: Must attend both sessions: Friday 6:00 pm-9:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm (minimum age 21yo+)
- CPR/AED (American Red Cross/OSHA), First Aid (American Red Cross/OSHA), and Stop the Bleed: 2 Sessions available: Saturday 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Cost to cover certification and supplies.
- Fundamentals of Training: Saturday 9:00 am - 11:30 pm and 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm.
- This course is designed to help Scouts and Scouters, regardless of their training experience, identify effective training methods for a variety of purposes. It will help freshen up the skills of current Scouting America trainers, as well. The skills and strategies presented here have been shown to improve teaching and learning—and will be of value to you, not only in your role in Scouting, but also in the ways that you communicate with others.
- Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills (IOLS) (S11) Friday 6 pm- Saturday 5:30 pm
Youth Training:
- Den Chief Training: Saturday 1:00pm -- 3:00pm
- ILST - Saturday 9:00am -- 12pm
- Prerequisite for NYLT
