Exploring Day April 2023

Your In-Service Day Solution!
Do something fun and meaningful on your in-service day! Choose from one of three pathways -- Healthcare, Engineering, or Agriculture -- and spend the day visiting businesses and schools getting hands-on experience.
When: Friday, April 21, 2023 from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Where: Drop off and pick up at PARC, 1 Scouting Way, Exton, PA 19341. Participants will be bused to locations throughout the day.
Cost: $60
The program starts at the Chester County Council, Boy Scouts of America's PARC building in Exton with some morning activities and speakers. Then students will hop on buses for each pathway and visit a local employer to learn more about a career in that industry. Students will then all meet at CCIU's TCHS Brandywine Campus for more hands-on activities, lunch, and visits to program areas related to their chosen pathway. In the afternoon, they will go out to visit a second local employer and go inside to explore another career possibility within their facilities. All participants then return to PARC in Exton for a community service speaker and project.
