No School? No Problem!

Spend Election Day earning the Citizenship in the Nation Merit Badge! Join us from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at PARC for a full day of engaging activities and advancement.

Scouts will explore the rights and responsibilities of American citizens, learn about the structure and functions of our government, and discuss important national issues and civic values.

Through discussions, activities, and real-world examples, participants will gain a deeper understanding of what it means to be an active and informed citizen. Scouts will complete many of the badge requirements while developing skills in citizenship, leadership, and civic engagement.

This is a great opportunity to make the most of a school holiday, advance in Scouting, and spend the day with fellow Scouts.

Space is limited, so register early!

PREREQUISITES: Scouts are asked to complete Requirement 5 prior to the event and complete one option from Requirement 7 (7a, 7b, or 7c) before arriving. We also ask Scouts to bring a copy of the letter to their elected representative required for Requirement 8, which can be reviewed and discussed during the class.
