Come enjoy a special one-day experience for future Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts (currently Bears and Webelos)!

We’ll be working on core requirements of the Webelos and Arrow of Light ranks. Bears will work on Webelos Walkabout, Cast Iron Chef, and more. Webelos will have a backcountry experience in patrols. 

Check-in will begin at 8 a.m. on April 24 with the opening ceremony to follow at 8:45 a.m. Lunch will be provided at from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m, and the day will conclude at 4 p.m. The cost is $11 per person, which includes lunch, a patch, and supplies for all of the activities.

Scout and Adult Required Gear:

1. Scout uniform
2. filled water bottle
3. outdoor shoes and clothing-- we will be outdoors all day
4. notebook and pen/pencil
5. jacket and rain gear
6. day pack
7. face mask to wear in case of close proximity to others

The Advanced Skills program for future Arrow of Light Scouts has extra gear requirements:

1. appropriate shoes for the hike (no sneakers)
2. compass
3. fire starter – Ferro-rod, magnesium striker, or flint and steel
4. paracord
5. rope for lashing (bailer twine is acceptable)
6. pocket knife (must have Whittlin’ Chip)
