Any member of the Woapeu Sisilija Lodge who is interested in serving on the executive board, a lodge committee, or has been elected to a chapter or lodge leadership position should attend the Lodge Leadership Development weekend. 

The event runs from 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 5, and ends by 9 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 7 and takes place at the Fogarty Dining Hall at Camp Karoondinha.

Attendees set chapter and lodge goals and learn tips about event planning, how to run chapter and lodge meetings, and how to hold OA elections in units. They will participate in the lodge work day as well. 

The cost is free to all participants but registration is required so adequate food can be provided.

All participants must bring a Scouting America Annual Health and Medical Record form Parts A and B along with a photocopy of their health insurance cards. Be sure to pack a water bottle, OA tee shirt for the work day, OA sash, and Class A uniform.
