Scouting America Trades Camporee

Are you a Scout curious about what comes after high school? Wondering what career paths exist right in your own community? Join us this fall for the Council Trades Camporee—a hands-on, career-focused weekend designed to introduce Scouts to the exciting world of skilled trades and public service professions.

Throughout the weekend, Scouts will have the opportunity to explore up to six different trades through immersive, hands-on sessions. With four sessions on Saturday and two on Sunday, participants can tailor their experience to match their interests and discover new possibilities. Whether you're considering a future in the trades or just want to learn how things work, this event is built to inspire and inform.

Carpentry

Corrections

Health Professions

Collision Repair

Masonry

Firefighting

EMT

Precision Metal Working

HVAC

Each session is led by professionals from our local communities who are passionate about their work and eager to share their knowledge. Scouts will gain practical skills, career insights, and a deeper understanding of the opportunities available in these essential fields.

Cost:

Scouts: $30 for the weekend

Leaders & Staff: $15
