NEW SCHEDULING THIS YEAR.....Choose a morning and an afternoon track.  We are excited to meet in person for training this year, but are making it as safe as possible with the changing restrictions.  With University being at camp this year please plan to be outside if at all possible, so dress for the weather and bring a camp chair to be comfortable.  You will choose training tracks and our teams of trainers will cover multiple topics that you should know to help with your scout leadership position.  Buildings will be used if needed due to weather.  Masking will follow the CDC guidelines for the time of our event, so please check the local requirements.

LUNCH will also be provided...the menu is grilled cheese sandwiches. vegetable soup and fruit, with coffee, water, or other drinks being provided.  You may choose to bring your own lunch also.  We won't be able to accommodate any dietary restrictions, so please plan accordingly.

Morning Session:                         9:15 am - 12:00 pm
Lunch:                                            12:00 pm - 1:10 pm             
Afternoon Session:                       1:15 pm - 4:00 pm
Closing Ceremony:                        4:15 pm

So, are you asking yourself “Why would I want to attend this event?” Well, besides the fun, fellowship, and special activities, it’s the place to be to bring new fire to yourself and your program. The University of Scouting will give you a renewed excitement for the Scouting program!
 
Can I attend? Absolutely! Everyone is invited. If you are an adult involved in Scouting, we have something for you. Whether you work directly with Scouts as a Leader or you work behind the scenes as a Committee Member or just a parent volunteer - even those of you who work on the District or Council Levels, there’s always more for you to learn.
 
Our University of Scouting Training Staff is top notch and is here to provide continuing training to supplement your required basic training. Want to learn how to use games to keep your boys engaged, or new ways to teach the same basic skills, check out the class tracks.  Don’t limit yourself to one program area. Just because you are active in Cub Scouts doesn't mean you shouldn't attend a Boy Scout session that sparks your interest. This training is designed to help you broaden your horizons.  Just stay in the training track you choose.
 
Unsure how to register? Click the blue register button on this page. Cost for all registrations as follows: youth and adult participants are $18.00 (some classes have additional costs), and trainers who are on staff are $8.00 if you register online by October 1, 2021. After this date all registrations will go to $35.00.  Registration will be available on site, but it will cost $35.00 and classes cannot be guaranteed. Lunch is provided in our dining hall, but feel free to bring your own if you have special dietary needs.

To add excitement and accessories to your day, there will be Coffee and Juice available all day in the Dining Hall, a Trading Post where you can buy scouting accessories or things you learn about in class, and an informative Opening and Closing session with everyone in attendance at the campfire circle.

New this year we will be offering in-person training at our camp, so be prepared to dress for the weather and bring a camp chair for your comfort. There is something here for everyone. Remember, to become the best leaders we can be, we can’t ever stop learning!
