Hawk Mountain Cub Scout Fall Fest
Come experience a weekend of fall fun and adventure at camp!
Whether your family is brand new to Cub Scouts or you’ve been part of the Scouting adventure for years, this event is a great opportunity to get outside, try something new, and experience all that camp has to offer!
Youth will have the chance to take part in a variety of classic camp activities, including Range & Target activities such as archery, BBs, and slingshots, outdoor ethics activities (Leave No Trace), fishing, fall-themed crafts, the zipline, and more! We’ll also enjoy some special fall fun, including a pumpkin patch and a hayride around the reservation. All registered youth will also receive a special event patch!
As an added adventure, Scouts will have the opportunity to participate in Jamboree on the Air (JOTA), an international Scouting event where they can use amateur radio to connect and talk with Scouts and Scouters from around the world!
Lunch is included for Cub Scouts and their accompanying adults. Families who want to make a full weekend of it can also take advantage of the optional overnight camping opportunity, which includes dinner, s’mores around the campfire, and even more fall-themed activities. Campsites will be assigned during check-in for those participating in the overnight portion. Youth must be registered in Scouting to take part in the overnight portion. Our summer camp tents will not be up so families will need to bring their own!
This event takes place alongside the Council Camporee, giving Cub Scouts a unique opportunity to see older Scouts in action and get a glimpse of the exciting adventures that await them in the future.
This is a family-style event, and you do not need to attend with your Pack to participate. All youth must have a parent or guardian with them throughout the event.
Whether you’re looking for a fun introduction to Cub Scouting, a chance to try activities you may not get to do at the Pack level, or simply a great fall weekend at camp, we’d love to have your family join us!
As with all Scouting events, participants must have a completed Annual Health & Medical Record. Only parts A and B are required for events under 72 hours. Click HERE to download a copy.
