Who Should Attend: Any Cub Scout leader or parent who wants to confidently plan and lead overnight camping trips.

What to Expect: Interactive sessions on Cub Scout camping skills, safety, outdoor program planning, and more — plus handson practice in a fun outdoor environment.

Why BALOO Matters

BALOO is required, at a minimum, for at least one adult attending pack overnight camping events. It combines:
- An online prerequisite course available through the BSA Learn Center, and
- A 1.5day outdoor, handson training component.
You’ll learn practical camping skills, how to plan and run safe pack overnighters, and get equipped to help make your Scouts’ outdoor experiences successful and fun!
