This spring camporee event will include ten stations (5 of each) in the Native American and 1800's Era areas of historic Meadowcroft Village. The scheduled activities include lecture and hands-on activity such as blacksmithing, grinding, candle making, and atltal(dart). Also, there will be a visit to the Rockshelter archeological dig site. Facilities will be available at the visitor's center. Units will be responsible for their meals. A kitchen and multi-purpose room will be available. Caution: Cellular phone coverage is spotty in this area. Meadowcroft Rockshelter is located at 401 Meadowcroft  Road, Avella, PA 15312.
