Aye Lassies and Laddies! Dust off ye tartans and kilts and join us again in the meadows at Camp Baker in friendly competition among clans (patrols). Our Highland games will combine traditional Celtic sports that originated centuries ago in the Scottish Highlands with a few scouting twists (mostly for safety!). The “Games” will provide an opportunity for the Scouts to explore some new and challenging experiences in Celtic tests of strength, endurance, and skill. The Highland Games are both an individual event and a team event for “clans.” There will be events for distance, accuracy, skill, and timing. No scouting skills are involved. The games are open to all registered Scouts BSA only (no Cub Scouts). Come and see which clan will have the best kilt or toss the caber the farthest!
