OCTOBER 10-12 - Fall Scouting Weekend at Camp Seph Mack

Join us of October 10 - 12 for a weekend of scouting skills and training at Camp Seph Mack. This event is open to the whole family and will have offerings for everyone!

Offering:

BALOO / IOLS - (Adults) Every scout deserves a trained leader! These courses not only teach crucial scouting skills but more importantly tips and tricks for working with youth. BALOO is geared towards cub scout camping and engaging families on the "first trip." IOLS offers a taste of the activites we ask our older scouts to complete while focusing on engaging instruction and leadership structures for scout led units. Meals are provided for the duration of the training.

Certified Angler Instructor - (Scouts 15+ and Adults) The BSA Certified Angler Instructor (CAI) program is an official certification for individuals who lead fishing and fly-fishing programs within the Boy Scouts of America. The program includes a "train the trainer" style instruction to develop instructors into confident leaders who can create engaging fishing programs.

New and existing Cub Scouts and their FRIENDS are invited to join in on the fun at Cub Fun Day on Sunday October 12th from 1:00 - 5:00 to get a chance to try out some fun Cub Scout activites like field and target sports, games, crafts, scout skills and a hike. 

Packs, Troops, and Families (with or without their units) are invited to attend our Family Camping Weekend - this low key weekend will have rotating areas around camp open for programing like our ranges, pick up games in the sports field, scouting skill workshops, fishing, guided nature hikes and cooking demos. Meals will be provided for an increased fee, or you are welcome to cook in your campsites. Come share the weekend with scouting friends new and old!

All meals will be provided for IOLS / BALOO / CIA. Those attending the Family Camp weekend are able to select to cook in thier camp sites or eat in the dining hall.
