Ahoy, Me Hearties and Welcome to the Chestnut Ridge District’s Spring Camporee! On behalf of Troop 4, the Camporee staff, and the Chestnut Ridge District, we welcome you to this year’s event at Camp Seph Mack. Troop 4 and the Camporee staff have been working hard to develop a fun event for this year’s Spring Camporee. The Spring Camporee is a weekend long camping experience designed to help improve a Scout’s knowledge with many areas of the Scouts BSA program. We have designed this weekend as a great opportunity for the Scouts to have fun, get creative ideas, and develop great fellowship with other Scouts.

Whether you are camping for the entire weekend or just one night, Camp Seph Mack will offer tons of fun and adventurous activities. Please ensure you read this entire Leader’s Guide. The most successful Troops at this event will have thoroughly read and attained a complete understanding of all sections covered in this Leader’s Guide. We hope this guide will enhance your Troop’s experience. An event of this size takes dedication and hard work on part of many exceptional volunteers. We have been blessed to work with a great committee, who share a commitment to the Scouts BSA program.
