Webelos Elective: Cast Iron Chef

Cost: $20

Units arriving on Friday, June 3: Check-in will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Wildman’s Shelter
Units arriving on Saturday, June 4: Check-in will be from 7:00am to 7:45am at Wildman’s Shelter

Campers will be invited to Cracker Barrel Friday evening. Cracker Barrel gives everyone an opportunity to gather for fellowship and snacks.  Weather permitting, we have a movie for the Scouts during Cracker Barrel.** Disney’s Ratatouille

Campers will be provided with a finalized copy of the schedule at camp.

Throughout the day it will be a cooking extravaganza presented by Scout BSA units from the Beaver Valley District.  Webelos will learn how to safely cook using a variety of techniques; reflector ovens, pie irons, chickens on a rope, foil cooking, box ovens as well as Dutch Ovens. 

While the Scouts are being trained their will be training for parents and leaders at most of the stations.

Units will provide their own meals for Saturday! 

For lunch Saturday their will several Dutch Ovens of Ratatouille for all to sample.

Saturday night we will have a Scout’s own service followed by a campfire.

Sunday a Pancake Breakfast for all will be served in the Wildman Shelter
