Apocalypse at Camp Baker - Beaver Valley/Frontier/Lackawanna Fall Camporee

Event Details

The year is 2023.  What we’ve all feared has come true.  Zombies roam the earth, and they’re highly contagious.  It’s not like in comic books though, the dead are not rising to walk the earth in search of brains to eat.  This disease affects living people, causing them to lose their minds and infect other people.  However, scientists have found an antivirus cure.

The outbreak hit Beaver County on what seemed like a regular weekend.  Families took trips to see fall foliage, people went about their daily lives, and a bunch of Scouts gathered at Camp Baker for a Camporee.  When the outbreak hit, it was discovered that Camp Baker was unaffected due to its remote location.  The government chose to activate the Scouts at the camp to help spread the cure.  They airdropped supplies from a helicopter and left instructions for exercises to be used for staying safe while distributing the cure.
