Important Reservation Information - Please Read Thoroughly

Day Trek Participants

  • Registering for Day Trek is a two-step process:
  1. Day Trek participants must be registered with their unit under their unit's Camp Liberty or Camp Freedom registration using the Day Trek Youth or Adult option.
  2. A second registration must be set up February 1 or after under Eagle Base for the same session (Week 1, Week 2, etc.) using the Day Trek Youth or Adult registrant type that corresponds to their camp (Camp Liberty or Camp Freedom). Participants will not be charged twice.

Eagle Base Resident Program Reservation Timeline

  • 2020 reservations open first come, first serve to begin May 1, 2019.
  • From May 1, 2019, until February 29, 2020, units can make their initial 2019 reservation by providing a flat $200 unit deposit and an estimated number of youth and adult campers.  These deposits are non-refundable if a unit should decide to cancel. Deposits will be applied toward overall camp fees due and will not be able to be "rolled" to future years.
  • Beginning March 1, 2020, full registration opens and full fees will be due. Names and other required information must be provided. Previously paid unit deposits will show as an "unallocated credit" that can be applied to attendees.

Eagle Base Resident Program Leadership

  • Units participating in the Eagle Base Resident Program must meet BSA youth protection guidelines and provide adequate leadership if they will have male and female campers.
  • To help us maintain BSA youth protection standards while on treks, it is expected that unit leadership will accompany trek participants and participate as able.

Provisional Campers

  • Please register Provisional attendees as separate registrations under their home unit, even if they will be attending camp with your unit. This is to help us accurately report camper attendance.
  • Provisional Campers for the full Eagle Base Resident Program will only be allowed during sessions in which there are other Eagle Base Resident Program participants. If there are no other participants during the desired session, a provisional opportunity to participate in Day Trek may be available.
