  • From October 1, 2018, until January 31, 2019, units can make their initial 2019 summer camp reservation by providing a flat $100 unit deposit and an estimated number of youth and adult campers.  These deposits are non-refundable if a unit should decide to cancel. Deposits will be applied toward overall camp fees due and will not be able to be "rolled" to future years.

Campsites

  • Beginning in 2019, packs will select campsites based on campsite area preference. Camp leadership will assign packs to specific sites and specific tents based on preference, attendance, and availability. Assignments will be communicated prior to camp. Camp Independence has three campsite areas:
    • Upper Sites - Hancock & Jones
    • Central Sites - Hamilton, Henry, and Attucks
    • Lower Sites - Franklin, Gannett, and Revere
  • If a unit does not fill an individual site, remaining space may be assigned to another unit. Please plan and register accordingly.
  • Packs with both male and female Cub Scouts/Webelos may share a campsite. It will be up to unit leadership to ensure youth protection guidelines, adequate privacy, mutual respect, and appropriateness are upheld within the site.
  • Cabin camping options will be available. Details to be announced at a future date.
