Join the Laurel Highlands Council Shooting Sports Committee for the 5th Annual LHC Youth Shooting Sports Classic on Saturday, October 22nd at Heritage Reservation!  The Youth Shooting Sports Classic will be a day of fun individual competition to determine who is the best shot in each shooting discipline and the top shot overall.

Activities

Individuals will complete in six different shooting disciplines. Prizes will be awarded for the top shooter in each discipline and the overall top shooter.  The six shooting disciplines* will include:

1. .22 Rifle
2. 12 ga Shotgun
3. Target Archery
4. 3D Archery
5. Tomahawks
6. TBD

*Shooting disciplines subject to change

This event is not intended to provide advancement instruction. Those not interested in competing are still welcome to come shoot and have fun for the day.

Additional activities such as fishing or orienteering may be added. Stay tuned!

Participation

Participation is limited to the first 80 youth registrants. This event is only open to registered Scouts BSA and Venturers. 

Lunch

A simple lunch is included in the day's registration fees. Individuals with special dietary needs should plan to bring needed accomodations.

What to Bring

• BSA Health & Medical Record Parts A and B for each participant
• Clothing to be outdoors in the weather
• Raingear
• Water Bottle
• Backpack
• Personal eye and ear protection - Not mandatory. Camp personal protective equipment will be available and provided.
• Do not bring - firearms, ammunition, bows, or arrows.
