Red-White-Blue Pomp Parade 2026
3rd Annual
RED, WHITE, BLUE, POMP AND PARADE
July 2, 2026
The parade has been designed to celebrate July 2, 1776 when the actual agreement was made to form the United States Of America!
This special parade begins at the Constitution Center and travels across Independence Mall to Chestnut Street, ending at the former Old City Tavern. The parade is made up floats built on little red wagons, cultural groups, historical figures, musical groups, and more.
If you and/or your unit would like to participate in this event each adult and scout must fill out the Parade Agreement. Please turn in all waivers on Thursday July 2nd 2026.
We will gather at 9:30 AM
Participants should be ages 5 – 17 . Venturing participants 14- 20 , Sea Scouts 14- 20 and registered adult leaders should be eligible to participate. All participants should wear full BSA uniform.
Uniform Examples:
Cub Scouts participants should wear a their appropriate uniform .
Scout BSA participants should wear their standart uniform (tan shirt and green pants).
Venturing Participants- Should wear their standard uniform.(Midnight green shirt & gray pants)
Sea Scout Participants should wear their standard uniform.( Either Sea Scout uniform is appropriate)
Release forms are due at the event on Thursday, July 2nd, 2026.
Arrive at the Constitution Center located at 525 Arch St Philadelphia PA 19106 by 9:30am.
