2025 Wilderness First Aid Training
Event Details

The BSA Wilderness First Aid (WFA) Training Program is a comprehensive course designed to equip Scouts and adult leaders with essential first-aid skills for remote and backcountry environments where emergency medical services may be delayed. Based on guidelines from the American Red Cross or other approved providers, the course covers topics such as patient assessment, wound management, fractures, environmental emergencies, and evacuation techniques. WFA certification is required for high-adventure trips and strongly recommended for all backcountry activities to ensure preparedness and safety in the wilderness.
