Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO)

October 7th and 8th at the Buck Run Dining Hall

Every unit that takes Cub Scouts camping needs to have a BALOO Trained Leader present. This course will begin Saturday morning and end before lunchtime on Sunday. BALOO training consists of an online pre-requisite component in addition to an overnight, hands on practical. BSA’s Cub Scout level camping policies will be taught along with the discovery of the necessary tools to help units carry out a successful camping experience.

This is an excellent opportunity to network and share ideas that will improve your unit’s outdoor program. Cub Scout Leaders from any district are welcome to attend. The cost for the course is $35. Meals are provided.
