20th Commemoration of 9/11 Flight 93 National Memorial

Event Details

The National Park Service, along with the Families of Flight 93, Friends of Flight 93 National Memorial, and National Park Foundation will host the 20th Anniversary Observance Events.

Flight 93 National Memorial will honor the 40 passengers and crew members of Flight 93 for the 20th anniversary of September 11, 2001 attack. The annual observance on Saturday, September 11, on the Memorial Plaza. At 10:03 a.m. – the moment Flight 93 crashed – the names of the passengers and crew members will be read, the Bells of Remembrance will be rung in their memory, and a wreath will be placed at the Wall of Names.

The Westmoreland-Fayette Council, BSA has been granted the opportunity to have special access to the commemoration ceremony, but space is limited to 150, so register early.

Camp Conestoga will be open to Scouts and Scouters. Registration is on Friday, Sept 10, 2021 from 6-8pm.

Transportation to and from the site will be provided by Charter buses and will be departing camp at 6am on Saturday due to the extra security procedures at site.

The cost per Scout and Scouter is $10. Price also includes a bag lunch and a patch.  All profit will be donated to the Friends of Flight 93 National Memorial.

ALL ATTENDEES MUST BRING BSA MEDICAL FORM PARTS A & B.
