Join us this fall for the Seasonal Cub Scout Progam at Camp Trexler! This program is designed for elementary-age boys and girls in grades K-5 who want to explore Cub Scouting through hands-on activities, outdoor skills, games, and fun challenges in a welcoming environment for the whole family.

Sessions will be held once a month on Saturdays from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM, August through December. The fall season will culminate with a special Pinewood Derby and Awards Ceremony on Saturday, December 12th for the whole family!

Participants will enjoy a variety of engaging activities that introduce the adventure, teamwork, and values of Cub Scouting while building friendships and confidence along the way. This location and schedule is ideal for families with an extremely busy lifestyle, or those who place a special value on the outdoor aspects of our program.

Registration covers all program materials, activity supplies, awards, and staffing, so families won't need to purchase anything additional for their child to participate. Everything needed for each week's activities is provided as part of the program fee.

All interested families are welcome - no prior Scouting experience required!

Camp Trexler Seasonal Cub Scout Schedule Fall 2026

Meetings will be held on the following Saturdays from 10am-2pm. Scouts should prepare to be outside (dress in layers) and bring a bagged lunch with a refillable water bottle.

8/29 – Week 1: Character, Leadership, and Teamwork / The Great Outdoors

9/19 – Week 2: Safety and Personal Fitness

10/3 – Week 3: Champions of Nature / STEAM-Powered Adventures

11/14 – Week 4: Citizenship

12/5 – Week 5: Scoutcraft / Family and Reverence (Indoor meeting)

12/12 – Week 6: Pinewood Derby / Closing Banquet (Indoor meeting)

All participants attending the Seasonal Cub Scout Pack will also need to complete the Camp Trexler General Participant Waiver, which can be found here: General Participant Waiver
