The Minsi Trails Council invites Cub Scouts, their families, and prospective members to a unique overnight experience at Shankweilers Drive-In Theatrethe oldest operating drive-in in the United States. Enjoy a night of fellowship, entertainment, and Scouting adventure under the stars.

Event Highlights for Registered Cub Scouts

Registration Information

Participant Fee: $20 per person

Early Bird Discount Deadline: Friday, August 22, 2025 at 11:59 PM

Optional Patch: Additional $5 per patch (available for leaders, parents, and siblingsselect during registration)

Eligibility & Attendance

Cub Scouts: Must be currently registered with Scouting America

Adult Leaders: Must be registered with Minsi Trails Council and have valid Youth Protection Training at the time of registration

Family Members & Guests: Parents, siblings, and potential new Cub Scouts are welcome and must register under the "Parent/Sibling" category

Please Note: All youth must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the event.

Important Reminders

Parking is limited. Please coordinate with your unit and other families to carpool.

No pets are permitted.

No smoking or alcohol is allowed, except in venue-designated areas.

No fires, open flames, or tailgating are permitted on site.

What to Bring

Small tent (10'x10' maximum footprint)

Sleeping bag and pillow

Portable chairs

Personal water supply (water bottles recommended)

Battery-powered radio (required to hear movie audio)
