NRA RSO Training

(Range Safety Officer)

Date – Saturday March 22nd 2025

Location- Camp Minsi- Wytrex Lodge 

8am to 5pm Saturday

This course is at least 8-hours long and includes classroom, learning how inspect and understand the layout of the ranges. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; firearm parts and operation; cartridge components; rifle malfunctions; pistol malfunctions; shooting fundamentals; range rules; cleaning; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the (RSO) Range Safety Officer study guide, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, take a NRA RSO Student Examination, and receive a course completion certificate, through an online registration after the course. (additional Cost)

Cost for MTC registered leader is $30.00 per person

Out of Council leaders will be $55.00

Lunch will be provided, if you want anything other the water to drink please bring your own. MUST BE 21 Years of age to take this class.

Class size will be limited to 20 students, there will be live shooting as part of this class.
