Wilderness First Aid Training

Designed for Scouts and Scout leaders, outdoor enthusiasts and anyone who works or spends time in remote environments, this course teaches advanced skills to be used in emergencies when help from professional first responders may be far away.  Youth that are attending a high adventure camp can participate in the training.  Participants must have a valid CPR certificate in advance.  Class limited to 15 participants.  

"All four Scouting America high-adventure bases (HABs) require individuals on each trek to have current certification in WFA (three per trek at Philmont Scout Ranch)."
