Board Retreat 2026

Early in the year is a great time to reflect on the past year and revisit our current strategic plan after one year of execution. The JVC Key 3 have selected a date in February between Klondike Derbies for an Executive Board retreat. The Susquehanna Council Executive Board has accepted our invitation to co-locate their retreat here and join in collaborative discussions. Commissioners from both councils will gather for a Commissioners Conference in the afternoon after joining for lunch.
This is also an opportunity for new board member candidates being nominated for acceptance at the late February Annual Meeting to come up to speed on current topics, understand expectations and commit to serving as a board member.
The agenda outline is below. We plan to provide read-ahead material from JVC committees and board members. The registration fee covers a continental breakfast, lunch, and hot and cold beverages throughout the day. Weekend lodging in the Kriner Lodge is available for participants.
We look forward to our collective discussions.
