Timberline and Cascadia District Webelos Woods

Event Details

October 2 - 4, 2026

Come to Webelos Woods and make history by being part of the first group in our council to offer a traction tribuchet event!  Along with other WEBELOS/AOLS appropriate events - building on and learning Scout Skills that you will need once you cross over.  Fun events will also be offered. Plan on bringing a sack lunch for Saturday to a troop you’d like to visit with at their camp site. You will have a choice of several units within the region of where the local pack meets.  Adults, this will be your chance to take some of your Scoutmaster Specific Training as well. And there will be 2 Adult Cook-offs - One winner for Cascadia and one for Timberline. We ask for no more than one entry per unit.

Please see important documents under the Attachments section to the right. Final version of Leader guide will be released by September 25th.

Horse Rides Available!
Saddle up and join the fun at Webelos Woods for our Chuck & Duck Horseback Riding Adventure on Saturday, October 3, 2026! Whether you're chasing ducks around camp or hitting the trails, riders can choose a morning session from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM or an afternoon session from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM. The cost is $60 per horse per session, with 30 horses available for each session. Spaces are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so units should register early to make sure their Scouts don't get left at the pond! Grab your hat, keep an eye out for those rubber ducks, and get ready for a great ride.

Units must register no later than September 18, 2026 11:59 PM. No new units will be accepted after this time.  Note there is a limit of 450 people at the event so the window to register a unit may close before September 18th.

Each participant needs to bring with them their Annual Health and Medical Record, parts A and B completely filled out.  Make sure the unit number is on the form.  Each unit will be keeping their forms at their campsite.  WEBELOS WOODS staff will not be keeping them. A “Summary of Medical Conditions/Medications” form that you think our Head Medic should know about will be included in the back of the Leader’s Guide for you to print, fill out, and hand in at check in.

Training Bonus!
A free in-person Scoutmaster Specific training course is being offered on Saturday. This is Scouting America's initial level of training for the top leaders of Scout troops. Taking this course along with the Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) course (taught in the spring) and online Hazardous Weather Training demonstrates that you are a trained leader in your unit.  You can sign up as part of adult registration.
