Survival Clinic with Brett Stoffel

Event Details

August 3 - 4, 2024

Open to the public. Adults and youth 14+.

In this course the fundamental elements of survival remain the same, regardless of environment. Both the classroom and the practical instruction emphasizes cutting edge theory and practice as well as techniques to give the best possible chance of survival in different environments. Class will start 9:00am Saturday and finish around 1:00pm Sunday. A list of what to bring will be provided to those registered prior to the event.

Cost
$125 per person. Payable at event. Cash, check, or Venmo accepted. Cost covers class materials, survival kit, Saturday dinner, and Sunday Breakfast.

About Brett Stoffel

Brett C. Stoffel currently serves as President for Emergency Response International (ERI) and OutdoorSafe Inc. In addition to his extensive outdoor training experience, he flew the B-52 as an Aircraft Commander and the B-2 Stealth Bomber as a Mission Commander, Flight Instructor and 3-ship Flight Lead for the USAF with approximately 2000 flight hours. While on active duty, Brett served as both Chief of Squadron Scheduling and Chief of Squadron Life Support, additionally he supervised the Combat Search & Rescue and SERE programs at the Squadron and Group levels for the U.S. Air Force at Whiteman AFB. After an honorable discharge from the Air Force, Brett earned a law degree from Willamette University in 2007, specializing in Intellectual Property and Patents. He spent several years as a patent analyst for Intel Corporation and joined the Washington State Bar in early 2008. He now serves as an instructor in Lost Person Behavior, Global Survival, Disaster Planning, Search Management & Planning, Basic Search and Rescue Skills, as well as Emergency Aircrew Procedures for Corporate Flight Departments. He is an accomplished author, pilot, and certified Outdoor Emergency Care provider and Wilderness First Responder. Brett regularly provides Search and Rescue training for volunteers and Government agency personnel at state & national conferences, training for State, Local and Federal Government organizations, is a member of the National Ski Patrol and serves as an Outdoor Emergency Care Technician for local Ski Patrol teams. He also remains active with the Washington State Bar. Additionally, Toyota (for the PNW) sponsors Brett to give safety seminars on outdoor preparedness to the public at the Pacific Northwest Sportsman’s shows in Seattle and Portland each year.
