Radio Merit Badge Course with Optional Ham Licensing 

April 6, 2024 (FCC Technician Amateur Radio Licensing Course is April 13th)

8:00AM to 5:00PM

No walk-in registration. Online registration ends March 30, 2024.  

Scouts will complete most of the Radio Merit Badge. Requirements 8, 9a(6), 9b, 9c, 9d will not be covered. If you choose to attend the FCC Technician Amateur Radio License training April 13th, please indicate this during registration and further instruction will be sent to you. Additional fees; Testing fee is $5 for scouts. FCC charges $35 to issue 10-year license, $30 for License Study Guide (only need one per family if you have more than one attending). Please contact Russ for recommended title. 

Adults must attend Radio Merit Badge course as a prerequisite to attending Ham License training. • Blue card with Unit Leader's signature
• Pen and/or pencil with paper for drawing requirement
• Sack Lunch
