- Five-day, field-based Leave No Trace (LNT) Level 2 Instructor Course (formerly Master Educator Course)
- In-depth training in LNT skills and ethics, with practical, hands-on methods: discussions, scenarios, demonstrations, and activities
- Graduates are certified to teach LNT Level 1 Courses, Skills Courses, and Workshops
Who
- Adults 18+ with a passion for outdoor ethics and teaching LNT
Participant Requirements
- Mixed field and classroom course—bring personal camping and outdoor gear for tent camping, (backpacking if registration is high enough for second group), and outdoor cooking activities
- Appropriate clothing for indoor and outdoor settings
- All meals and educational materials provided; participants supply their own camping and personal gear
- Must be currently registered in Scouting America.
- Must also be current in Youth Protection Training & Weather Hazard Training
- Scouting America Medical form (Parts ABC) signed by a physician.
Class Size
- Limited to 10 participants (minimum of 6 required)
- Second class may be added if demand and instructor availability permit
