IOLS Training (Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills)

Hosted by Spirit Lake District. Open to all districts in Cascade Pacific Council.






IOLS (Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills) is a hands-on training course required for Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters to be considered fully trained. It provides the essential outdoor skills needed to lead Scouts in a safe and engaging outdoor program.

The course begins at 8:00 AM Saturday and concludes Sunday at 12:00 PM. Friday night camping is available, with optional evening classes for an additional fee. Friday check-in starts at 6:00 PM and classes begin at 7:00 PM. Dinner is not provided Friday evening; a Cracker Barrel will be provided.
