BALOO Training Presented by Spirit Lake District
October 11 - 13, 2024
This course is designed as an introduction to the Cub Scout outdoor program for leaders interested in adding a camping component to their Pack activities.
BALOO training consists of an online pre-requisite component in addition to an overnight hands-on practical. Click here to access the prerequisite training.
BSA’s Cub Scout level camping policies will be taught along with the discovery of the necessary tools to help units carry out a successful camping experience. Completion of this course is mandatory for a MINIMUM OF ONE adult on a Pack overnighter.
Important Notes
Friday night arrival for those who want and can get there. No dinner will be provided Friday evening. Prepare accordingly.
Cracker Barrel on Friday Night and Breakfast Saturday Morning can be provided If communicated to the Course Lead that they will be there Friday night.
Saturday Lunch, Dinner, Cracker Barrel and Sunday Breakfast are included at this event.
1 night of Overnight camping is required for this training.
Sunday morning we have scheduled sessions please plan on staying till Noon.
